Mechanical Design Engineer (Piping) (m/f) - Head-Office, Riyadh
We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Piping) to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking projects that will shape the future of Riyadh.
Your responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee piping design and engineering activities for various projects.
- Develop piping layout and design drawings in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Perform stress analysis and calculations to ensure piping systems meet safety and performance requirements.
- Coordinate with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of piping design deliverables.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project staff.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess piping system installations and resolve any issues or challenges.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver civil engineering solutions.
- Conduct hydraulic and civil engineering analysis, design, and calculations for various projects.
- Develop and review project plans, specifications, and drawings.
- Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
- Perform site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project staff.
Job requirements
- Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on piping design and engineering.
- Proficiency in piping design software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, and CAESAR II.
- Must hold valid “SCE” Saudi Council of Engineers certificate.
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, etc.).
- Experience in stress analysis, pipe sizing, and material selection.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
