Mechanical Design Engineer (Piping) (m/f) - Head-Office, Riyadh

We are currently seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (Piping) to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. This position offers a unique opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking projects that will shape the future of Riyadh.

Your responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee piping design and engineering activities for various projects.
  • Develop piping layout and design drawings in accordance with project requirements and industry standards.
  • Perform stress analysis and calculations to ensure piping systems meet safety and performance requirements.
  • Coordinate with project teams, clients, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of piping design deliverables.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and project staff.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess piping system installations and resolve any issues or challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver civil engineering solutions.
  • Conduct hydraulic and civil engineering analysis, design, and calculations for various projects.
  • Develop and review project plans, specifications, and drawings.
  • Collaborate with project teams and clients to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Perform site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project staff.

Job requirements

  • Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on piping design and engineering.
  • Proficiency in piping design software such as AutoCAD, PDMS, and CAESAR II.
  • Must hold valid “SCE” Saudi Council of Engineers certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards (ASME, API, ASTM, etc.).
  • Experience in stress analysis, pipe sizing, and material selection.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
