ILF Consulting Engineers KSA is on the hunt for a talented individual for below role for an exciting PMC project in Riyadh: A unique, golden opportunity to make a meaningful impact on critical infrastructure projects in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia that contribute to sustainable development.

This project is an incredible opportunity, truly one-of-a-kind, with a scope that covers the design review, and supervision of procurement, construction, testing, and commissioning, over a duration of up to 36 months, including the construction of a closed wadi with running waters, several buildings and retails areas and a new RO plant to treat irrigation water.

Construction Director

As the Construction Director, you will be responsible for all aspects of the construction and commissioning supervision scope to ensure timely projects completion in line with the requirements. You will provide strategic leadership, technical expertise, and operational guidance to our construction supervision teams, ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency are maintained. 


  • Lead and manage the construction supervision team, including discipline site supervisors, site HSE and QA/QC engineers/inspectorsfostering a culture of collaboration and efficiency.
  • Review and comment on the Contractor’s construction strategy and plans with the objectives to ensure achievement of client’s goals and requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to optimize project delivery, resolve issues, and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor project progress, performance metrics, and KPIs, providing regular updates and reports to the clients.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety protocols, and environmental standards, promoting a safe and sustainable work environment.
  • Promote innovation and process improvement initiatives to enhance construction methodologies, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.

Job requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or related field from western accredited university; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience 2015+ years in construction management roles, with a track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale urban development and facilities construction projects.
  • Strong technical expertise in construction methodologies, techniques, and materials, with the ability to provide hands-on guidance and support to construction teams.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Solid understanding of project management principles, including budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation.
  • Proficiency in construction management software, tools, and technologies.
  • Professional certifications such as CCM (Certified Construction Manager) or PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
