Position Title: Architect
Work Location/Term: Riyadh, KSA / Full-time
Design: Design, Design Review
In Absence Replaced By: Senior Architect
Reports to: Civil Team Lead

Responsibilities:

• Design and Design Support: Assist in the development of detailed Architectural designs under the guidance of the Senior Architect, ensuring they align with the project’s aesthetic, functional, and environmental goals. Contribute to the selection of materials, plant species, and other Architect elements to support sustainable and visually appealing environments.

• Coordination with Teams: Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, MEP engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure the seamless integration of Architect elements with the overall infrastructure. Support interdisciplinary coordination to maintain design integrity.

• Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures as directed by the Senior Architect, ensuring that all Architect installations meet the project’s specifications and quality standards. Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and safety standards.

• Compliance and Standards: Ensure that all Architect installations adhere to local environmental regulations, safety standards, and best practices in architecture. Monitor compliance and report any deviations to the team and the project manager.

• System Optimization: Regularly assess the performance and aesthetics of installed Architect elements, identifying opportunities for optimization and improvement. Propose enhancements to the Senior Architect for consideration.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all architecture-related activities, including design documentation, progress reports, and quality control records. Prepare reports as required by the project manager.

Job requirements

Competency Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Architect in Architect or infrastructure projects, with a focus on supporting senior staff in design, Design review, and quality control tasks.

• Hands-on experience in Architect design, installation procedures, and quality control processes.

• Strong understanding of architecture principles, material selection, operation systems, and their integration into complex infrastructure/buildings projects.

• Knowledge of local environmental regulations, safety standards, and best practices in architecture.

• Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and tools used in architecture projects.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education:

• For BSc Holders: Bachelor’s degree in Architect or a related field from a recognized university, with over 8 years of relevant experience.

• Language Skills: English is mandatory.

• Professional Experience: A minimum of 8 years of experience in architecture, depending on educational background.

• Other Skills:

• Strong communication skills (listening, verbal & written) to effectively support the Senior Architect and collaborate with other project team members.

• Detail-oriented with a commitment to ensuring the highest quality and sustainability standards in Architect design and implementation.

• Systematic thinker with good organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple tasks under the direction of the project manager.

• Proactive problem-solving abilities, with a willingness to propose improvements and optimizations to Architect designs.
